I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since that awful night at the Alrosa Villa. Seems like an eternity ago. . . and yet just last week. Not gonna get all sentimental here, just wanted to acknowledge the loss four years ago of one of the greatest guitarists ever – ‘Dimebag’ Darrell Abbott, as well as Jeff “Mayhem” Thompson, Nathan Bray & Erin Halk to a senseless act by a deeply disturbed man.
And no, I wasn’t at the Alrosa that night – made a last minute decision to meet with some friends in another part of town instead. A life changing decision, to say the least.
I’m annoyed that so little in the press is out there reminding us of that sad day, to remember the loved ones who were lost, and the incredible talent that was forever silenced. A couple of devil horns to Metalsucks.net for keeping the memory alive.
